Perfection. What does that word really even mean? Well one thing I know for sure is that only God is perfect. We were created in his likeness and perfectly, yet we sure don't act like it at all. We all may think that we're perfect, but in reality...we're the farthest thing from it. And on dictionary.com (yes i use ittt) it says that perfect also means flawess. Okay, now we all know that we have TONS of flaws and imperfections. But then why do people go to each other saying oh you're so perfect, I wish I could be like you? It doesn't make any sense. Oh and another thing, since we were MADE perfectly, every person is beautiful whether it's your definition of beautiful or not. We are all beautiful because of that very reason. Because we are made it God's likeness and because God has set that we are beautifully and wonderfully made.
"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them." ~ Genesis 1:27
Each and every one of us has made tons of mistakes in our past and are going to make mistakes. But we have to think about how we were made in God's likeness and try to be some what perfect...though it won't ever really happen. Hmm WWJD? Just think, if you allow God to take control, everything will get easier. But the hard part is giving full control to God. Just know that once you do...making the right decisions and choices will get easier and come to you more naturally.
Hmm...I want to make God proud, don't you? :)
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” ~ John 16:33

Trials are God's way of showing us He cares
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."~ 1 Corinthians 10:13
Trials will always be a part of life. But know that God never gives us more than we can handle. Though at times we feel like the world is resting on our shoulders, God knows exactly how much we can bear. If He knew that we couldn't bear it, then He would not have placed it on our shoulders in the first place. Just like Job, God allowed the devil to tempt and destroy Job but only as much as Job could handle, and Job never faltered one bit. That is why God gave Job twice as much as he had in the beginning. Have faith and trust that what God puts in our lives is only to make us stronger and to lean on him more. These trials are only here as a test of our faith. God wants us to see that we need Him and that He will always provide an answer.
I know that at times I feel like I just have way too much going on and I can't handle it all. But I take a step back and I look at things, and then I pray that God would help me with everything that's going on. And things start to get easier. But see it's not a one-time thing where you can go to God one time and everything from there on will be fixed, no. You have to continually pray for his help and guidance because you will always need God. He is my strength when I am weak. He is my light when I am surrounded by darkness. And He is my stronghold in whom I can trust and rely on. Place everything on God and let Him take care of it. He will never let you down.

What have I been doing all this time?
I guess this is sort of like a continuation from yesterday or something? I'm not quite sure yet. But yeah anyways...
I feel like I’ve been wasting my life and just letting it slip away underneath me. “O Christ be the Center of our Lives, be the Place we fix our eyes.” God needs to be the center of our lives, because if he’s not, our world will come tumbling down on us. And I’ve seen it happening to myself. I didn’t give all my cares to God, and my world came tumbling down on me. Just like paper needs glue to stick together, we need God to keep us strong and to hold our lives together. He is my maker in whom I take refuge in.
Recently, I’ve been feeling lonely, even when I’m with a group of friends, but I realized that I have never been alone nor will I ever be alone. God is always sitting right beside me and encouraging me in whatever I do. He is holding my hand through every step of the way, and when I get tired he carries me along the path.
I know that I may be small and no one to one person. Or you might think who am I to say this. But to God I am everything. He knows every hair on my head and all my worries. I am his child, and he will take care of me like no other. God is the one person you can go to for anything and everything. Because these people on this earth will someday be gone and then what are you going to do? God will never leave you nor forsake you. Open your heart and let him in. From there on out, your life will be filled with joy and bliss. And every day you live after that, you will feel loved like no other. Leave all your troubles to God because he will take care of them. He wants us to depend on him and we need Him. Without God, I am nothing but another stone on the ground, another face in the crowd, another book on the shelf, another lost case among many.

A Big Mess of Things
Last week, if you walked into my room, you’d see that it was a complete and total mess. School books and shoes were piled on top of each other in one corner of my room because school had just ended that day. My room probably looked like a tornado had struck it. After a few days of looking at that room, I really got tired of the mess.
Sounds sort of like my life, huh? I had started growing distant with God in the middle of last year because I just got to distracted with materialistic things of this world, my life slowly started to become a mess. A big one at that. I wasn’t focusing in school and it just seemed as though life was passing me by way too quickly. And it was. Instead of taking charge of my life, and setting my priorities straight, I delayed it as much as possible. Until everything just became too much to handle. And I prayed to God to help me and I started my doing my devotions again and I grew closer to God. And the closer and closer I got to him the less and less significant my problems became. When I laid out all my problems to God, he took them from my hand and fixed them.
"Casting all your cares upon him; for he cares for you." ~ 1 Peter 5:7
So when I saw my room like that, I just couldn’t stand it and I decided to clean it up. And now it’s clean. :) Kind of like what I’m doing with my life right now. Fixing it up and getting rid of all the distractions.
